The winning agencies include: McCann, Creativeland Asia, Grey, DDB Mudra and Ogilvy & Mather.
Five Indian agencies have won Lions in the Outdoor category this year. Put together, they brought six Outdoor Lions home. In all, 15 Indian entries have been given Lions in this category.
The winning agencies include McCann Worldgroup India Mumbai, Creativeland Asia Mumbai, Grey Worldwide India Mumbai (along with Maruri Grey Guayaquil), DDB Mudra Mumbai and Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai.
McCann leads with two Silver Lions. One is for its Basement creative for Essel Group's Dish TV. And the other is for a three-ad campaign for the same brand; the creatives include Basement, Sofa and Puddle.
Creativeland Asia has won a Silver Lion for its three-ad campaign for Reckitt Benckiser's Durex RealFeel condoms. The creatives include Heart, Gut and Brain. Sukhleen Aneja, category head, Durex India, says, "We welcome the silver lion to our office. Durex as a brand goes beyond functionality and protection and believes that great sex moves you. This outdoor campaign is a step in that direction and we are thrilled that it has been recognised as one of the best pieces of communication in the world, at the Oscars of advertising."
Grey has won a Bronze Lion for its three-ad campaign for DHL Express Courier Services. The campaign is titled DHL Hands and the creatives are named Ripped, Cutter and Scissors.
O&M has won a Bronze Lion for its three-ad campaign for Puffin, audio books for children. The creatives are titled Soundwave- Alice in Wonderland, Soundwave- The Jungle Book and Soundwave- Cinderella.
DDB Mudra Group won a Bronze Lion for its campaign for Volkswagen; the ads include Automatic Distance Control and Bi-Xenon Headlamps.
In all, 131 Outdoor Lions were given away this year.
