McCann Worldgroup India Mumbai’s French Horn creative for Dabur’s Gastrina has been shortlisted for a Design Lion. It falls under the Posters sub-category.
Will it win?
The ad has already fetched the agency a Silver Lion in the Press category; the Lion is for the three-ad campaign including two other creatives titled Fugelhorn and Saxophone.
This time, 240 entries have been shortlisted in the Design category. India’s hopes ride on McCann’s solo shortlist.
India has no Radio, Product Design or Cyber shortlists this time.
Note that in the Product Design category, an India-based campaign by Grey Group Singapore has been shortlisted for a Lion; this is the ‘Life Saving Dot’ (or Jeevan Bindi) campaign by a brand called Talwar Bindi. As part of this campaign, bindis fortified with iodine were distributed across rural India. Through the course of the day, the wearers of these modified bindis received their daily dose of iodine, which literally seeped from the bindi, through the skin on their forehead, into their bodies.
