Goafest 2015: JWT India Leads Creative Abby Tally; Wins 9 Gold Awards

JWT India has also won the highest number of metals this year - 35. These include 9 Gold, 8 Silver and 18 Bronze Awards

On April 11, the last lot of Creative Abby Awards was announced. But first, a quick look at the overall Creative Abby Metal Score.

Quick Round Up: In all, 344 metals were given away this year. These include 69 Gold awards, 102 Silver awards, 172 Bronze awards, and one Grand Prix.

Categories in which maximum Golds were given are: Broadcaster (14) and Out of home (9). Six Gold awards were given away in the Film Craft, Public Relations and Brand Activation categories, each.

Overall, maximum number of metals were given away in the Out of home category (40), followed by Digital (36) and Design (31).

From a colour-of-metals standpoint, in the Creative Abby Tally List, the top two organisations of 2015 are: JWT India (9 Golds), and Contract India (4 Golds). Linen Lintas, Cheil India, DDB Mudra Group, Early Man Film, Multi Screen Media, and Bennett, Coleman & Co. stood third with three Golds each.

Recall that Linen Lintas won a Grand Prix for Dabur Vatika; this was the only Grand Prix given away this year.

From a number-of-metals standpoint, in the Creative Abby Tally List, the top organisations of 2015 are: JWT India (35), Contract India (22) and Taproot Dentsu (15). Publicis Communications, ideas@work, and Scarecrow Communications stood fourth with 13 metals each.

JWT India's 35 metals include 9 Gold, 8 Silver and 18 Bronze Awards.

Contract India's 22 metals include 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 10 Bronze Awards.

Taproot Dentsu's 15 metals include 1 Gold, 7 Silver and 7 Bronze Awards.

Now, a look at the agencies that won Gold awards on April 11, the third and last day of Goafest 2015.

On Day Three, 29 Gold awards, 51 Silver Awards and 94 Bronze awards were given away.
