ITSA Brand Innovations has been awarded the mandate to develop and deliver new, integrated messaging for HCL Technologies. The development is the result of a multi-agency pitch.
For Emmanuel Upputuru, founder, ITSA, this is a "morale boosting win". He says, "To win this we had to dig deep into the complex business matrix and finally come up with something that was 'unignorable'. Hopefully the work that will come out will speak for itself."
Krishnan Chatterjee, head, strategic marketing, HCL Technologies, marvels at the fact that IT services has touched 10 per cent of India's GDP. "And yet," he says, "it is difficult to find agencies willing to put in the hard work to understand this somewhat complex landscape. ITSA stands out not just on the strength of its creative brilliance but also in its desire and ability to 'get under the skin' of IT."
Abhishek Shankar, global head, brand office and thought leadership, HCL Technologies, shares that the company has spent a considerable number of years, carefully listening to what its clients have to say and has studied the direction in which the outsourcing industry has been moving. "This campaign," he says, referring to ITSA's upcoming communication for the brand, "is a culmination of that research."
B2B markets, Shankar feels, are extremely challenging when it comes to marketing beliefs and positions. In the days ahead, the agency will help HCL Technologies share its vision with the international community.

ITSA was founded in July, 2012 by Emmanuel Upputuru, ex-national creative director, Publicis; Anirban Mozumdar, ex-national planning director, Publicis; and Daniel Upputuru, ex-head of TAG McCann Delhi, along with Concept's Vivek Suchanti.
