Automotive portal Carwale.com has decided to continue working with Catalyst Advertising as its creative partner.
The authorities had called for a pitch early this year. Although several agencies made presentations, none of the participating agencies were selected and the firm decided to call for yet another full-fledged pitch. However, after considering more agencies' creative inputs, the authorities have decided not to explore any further and will continue working with Catalyst Advertising, an agency that has worked on several creative projects for the brand in the recent past.
Besides Catalyst Advertising, Limelight Communications and Sunshine Media have handled the creative duties for Carwale.com in the past.
Earlier this year, Carwale.com was in the news on afaqs! for launching video advertising. As the report mentioned, the objective of this was to help its clients deliver more engaging and informative ads. The portal announced that it will provide interactive in-stream ads (pre-roll, mid-roll and post-roll), and in-banner interactive video ad units. For this, Carwale partnered with the interactive online video advertising company, Jivox.
It may be noted that the vehicle website CarTrade.com (also known as CarTradeIndia.com) currently works with Salt Brand Solutions (creative mandate) and MEC (media mandate).
