Ad spends for the launch campaign are estimated at Rs 15-20 crore.
French car maker Renault has awarded the creative duties for its upcoming luxury sports utility vehicle (SUV) Duster to Publicis Ambience. The agency's Mumbai branch will handle the account.
The development is the result of a multi-agency pitch.
While senior authorities at the agency denied the development, highly placed industry sources have confirmed the news to afaqs! on grounds of anonymity.
As per media estimates, ad spends for the launch campaign of the brand are in the region of Rs 15-20 crore. The campaign is slated to be a multi-media communication effort and will be rolled out shortly. According to reports, the Duster will be available in India before the end of this year.
For Publicis Ambience, this win comes close on the heels of winning the creative mandate for Bharti AXA Life Insurance as well as Bharti AXA General Insurance.
Renault India unveiled the Duster at Auto Expo 2012 held in New Delhi earlier this year. Popular brands on Renault's portfolio are Fluence, Koleos and Pulse.
Law & Kenneth has been the creative agency on the Renault account in India since July, 2010.
