Brand David will handle brand Gulabari, while Law & Kenneth will handle the brands under the Fem portfolio.
FMCG giant Dabur has reshuffled the creative agencies for its skincare portfolio say reliable industry sources. The creative pitch, which was initiated towards the end of December 2010 concluded a couple of days ago.
Early on Thursday morning, afaqs! learnt that the Gulabari (rose water, face freshener, moisturising cream and lotion) account has moved to Ogilvy's Delhi-based third agency, Brand David. The agency already handles the creative duties for Fem's hair removal cream (Fem Complete Hair Removal System). The incumbent on the Gulabari account is Bates 141.
Bates 141 also handled the creative duties for the Uveda (face wash, moisturiser and fairness cream) account, the mandate for which has now moved to Law & Kenneth.
Sources also inform that Law & Kenneth has bagged Dabur's Fem Bleach and Fem Handwash businesses. Earlier, Grey Worldwide handled both brands. However, Grey has retained the creative mandate for Oxybleach and Oxylife, Dabur's other two offerings in the skin bleaching space.
Law & Kenneth has retained the Saka (oxygen bleach for men) account. The agency has been handling the creative duties for this brand since 2009.
Dabur's media agency is Maxus.
Neither Dabur authorities, nor the spokespersons from the concerned advertising agencies were available for comments on the developments.
