Global bicycle giant Hero Cycles has appointed Rohit Gothi as its chief executive officer (CEO). Gothi joins Hero Cycles after a four-year stint at Hindustan Coca–Cola Beverages (the largest bottling partner of the Coca-Cola company in India) where he was working as executive director, market operations.
Gothi will be responsible for spearheading the planning, development and execution of the company’s long-term strategy.

Commenting on Gothi's appointment, Pankaj M Munjal, CMD, HMC Group, says in a company statement, “We are delighted to have Rohit (Gothi) join our team... Gothi has 25 years of experience. He began his career with Shalimar Paints, and has successfully held key positions in large conglomerates such as Marico, Lornamed and Bharti Airtel.
