Mercedes-Benz India has promoted Santosh Iyer, vice-president, marketing, and customer relationship management. He will now head the after-sales and retail training function of the company in India.
Iyer will continue to be part of the management board. The appointments will be effective from January 1, 2016. He has taken over the additional role from Devdutta Chandavarkar, who will take on a larger role at Mercedes-Benz Middle-East, and will be based in Dubai.

Established in 1994, Mercedes-Benz India's production facility is spread over 100 acres in Chakan, near Pune. Currently, the company has 81 outlets across 40 Indian cities including three standalone certified outlets.
