He will be taking over the new mandate from January 1st, 2015.
SABMiller India, the subsidiary of SABMiller plc, has appointed Shalabh Seth as managing director. He takes over the charge from Grant Liversage who is returning to South Africa.
Seth joined SABMiller India in its early days during 2003 and has progressed through various senior roles in the organisation. He has been the sales director since October 2011 and will be taking over the new mandate from January 1, 2015.
His key responsibilities will include overseeing the company's operations, expansion and growth in the country and working towards building the business in the diverse and challenging Indian market by strengthening company's diversified and balanced portfolio of brands.
Speaking on the development, Ari Mervis, managing director - SABMiller Asia Pacific, says, "I am pleased to announce the appointment of Shalabh Seth to the position of Managing Director of SABMiller India. Shalabh is well suited for this position, having had a proven and successful track record in our India business."
