Subsequent to its recent restructuring of its Print Business, the 93 year old Vikatan Group has announced further changes in its leadership team. Sunder Thiyagarajan, VP, currently heading the Magazine Sales & Marketing of Vikatan Group has been given additional responsibility of Advertisement Sales for the entire magazine bouquet and elevated as the Revenue Head of the entire print function.
In his new role, Sunder will be responsible for the entire revenue stream, both Circulation & Ad revenues, of the revamped magazine group. Last year, Sunder was instrumental in launching & spearheading a school connect initiative, titled Chutti Vikatan - Know Your District infobook series where Chutti Vikatan, children's magazine of the group, directly reached out more than 600 schools and over 1 Lakh students across 10 districts of Tamilnadu. Recently, Sunder played a key role in restructuring the Magazine Portfolio as Core Magazine Group and Special Interest Magazine Group.
In a parallel development, Ganesh Murugan, currently National Head, Digital Sales and Shankar M Shiv, currently Regional Head, Tamilnadu are assigned additional responsibilities. In addition to being the National Head, Digital, Ganesh Murugan will now be heading the Northern Region while Shankar M Shiv, will take additional responsibilities of Events Vertical as the National Head besides heading TN region.
