Ashok Venkatramani, MD, ZEE Media calls it quits

He joined Zee in July last year.

Ashok Venkatramani has resigned as managing director of Zee Media Corporation with effect from July 9, highly placed sources at the organisation has confirmed.

Prior to Zee, Venkatramani served as the CEO at ABP News Network and worked there for over eight years. Before that he worked for over 19 years with Hindustan Unilever Limited(HUL).

During his stint at the FMCG major he worked on the foods and personal care business in sales, marketing and general management roles. He was the vice president and business head - skincare for Unilever in India before moving on to ABP news network.
