Rudratej Singh, former president at Royal Enfield, will take up this new role at BMW India on August 1, 2019.
In a recent tweet, former president of Royal Enfield, Chennai-based two-wheeler marketer, announced his appointment at automobile company BMW Group, effective August 1, 2019. He will join BMW as president and CEO, India ops. He quit from Royal Enfield in January this year.
Singh is a graduate from Delhi University and holds an MBA degree in marketing and finance from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. Prior to joining Royal Enfield in 2015, Rudratej Singh was based in Singapore and worked at Unilever as vice president of South Asia. Singh has over 25 years of experience across diverse product groups.

Reportedly, in his new role, he will be in charge of BMW, Mini and BMW Motorrad brands in India.

Singh will be taking over the role from Hans-Christian Bartels, acting president & CFO, BMW India. Bartels took over the India mandate when Vikram Pawah moved on from his role as president, BMW Group India, last year; Pawah was subsequently appointed as CEO for BMW Group Australia and New Zealand.
