Swati Shetty, Netflix's director, international originals and acquisitions has stepped down from her role. The news was confirmed to afaqs! by Netflix. “We can confirm that Swati Shetty has decided to leave Netflix,” says a company spokesperson.

Prior to her latest role at Netflix, Shetty has served as president at Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telfilms Ltd, executive director - Walt Disney International Productions - India, associate director at the Disney ABC Television Group and manager at Star India Pvt Ltd.
