Balaji Telefilms has roped in Aashish Singh as chief executive officer (CEO) for Balaji Motion Pictures. He will report to the group chief operating officer, Nachiket Pantvaidya.
Singh has been an accomplished executive movie producer, with over 15 years of domain experience. He has been associated with some of the most popular Bollywood films like Tiger Zinda Hai, Sultan, Dhoom 2 and 3 and Chak de India amongst others.

In his last stint, he was vice president - production at Yash Raj Films, and was responsible for all the aspects pertaining to production. He was instrumental in building partnerships with international locations for film shoots and managed co-productions, acquisitions, production services and line production of international projects in India.

According to the press release shared by the company, Singh holds the record for having helmed the maximum number of films in Hindi as an executive producer.
Commenting on Singh’s appointment, Sunil Lulla, group chief executive officer Balaji Telefilms, says, “Ashish (Singh) has been involved in creating some of the most memorable films in Bollywood and we look forward to creating more successful films under the Balaji Telefilms banner.”
