Dhunji Wadia retires from Rediffusion Group

Rahul Jauhari, chief creative officer, and Navonil Chatterjee, chief strategy officer, have taken over the reins as joint presidents of Rediffusion Group.

Dhunji Wadia, president, Rediffusion Group, has retired from the agency. With his retirement, Rahul Jauhari, chief creative officer and Navonil Chatterjee, chief strategy officer, have taken over as joint presidents of Rediffusion Group.

Recall that Wadia joined Rediffusion Y&R in 2014, as president. Prior to that, he worked with Everest Brand Solutions (part of Y&R in India) as president. Before that, Wadia worked with JWT for 17 years. Prior to that, he worked with Everest Advertising as vice president.

Wadia, who holds an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (Mumbai University), has over 25 years of industry experience. Brands he has worked closely on during the course of his career include Parle, Tata, Unilever, Nike, Levi Strauss, Diamond Trading Co, Kellogg, Aditya Birla Group, Sony Entertainment Television (MAX and SAB), and Kotak, among several others.
