Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha's Twitter rant about Indigo Airlines mishandling her luggage triggered brand chatter. VIP Bags tried to win over Samsonite and Fevikwik tried to be the hero.
Indigo Airlines recently found itself at the wrong end of a major influencer. To clarify, Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha recently tweeted about Indigo mishandling her luggage. The video she shared shows two broken handles on the luggage piece and a missing wheel.
Hi @IndiGo6E, Hulk is 6E, this was not so 6E. You broke the unbreakable.#Indigo pic.twitter.com/8x4lVzBlqH

Sinha, who travelled with a Samsonite trolley bag, makes it clear in the video that even a Samsonite bag couldn't survive Indigo's services. Though the brand under fire was Indigo, it wasn't a rival airlines company that took advantage of the situation.
Samsonite, in its ad campaign #PushTheLimit had highlighted the product's unbreakable nature. The brand even got influencers to try out their destructive abilities on Samsonite products.
Even before Samsonite could or probably decided to respond to Sinha's tweet, rival brand, VIP Bags, came forward to express grief. VIP even took an extra step by delivering an "unbreakable" bag at Sinha's office.
Ouch! It ain't fair what happened.
We've sent the super stylish VIP Fairway bag to your office!

Speaking of breakage, Pidilite's quick adhesive brand Fevikwik was quick to chime in too. The brand responded with, "Breakage se darr nahi lagna chahiye memsahab, Fevikwik na hone se lagna chahiye!" Meaning, you shouldn't be scared of breakages and should rather worry about not having Fevikwik.
Breakage se darr nahi lagna chahiye memsahab, Fevikwik na hone se lagna chahiye! ;)
