Here's a look at how brands are punning on the much talked about Kunal - Arnab incident.
If you are a netizen, you probably already know how it all started. Stand-up comedian Kunal Kumra shared a self shot, almost two minute long video of him asking 'coward' Arnab Goswami about his journalism and political views, aboard an Indigo flight from Delhi to Lucknow on January 28, 2020. Soon after, Indigo used Twitter to announce a six month ban on the comedian. Air India, SpiceJet, Go Air fell in line with Indigo's statement.
Kamra confronting the Republic TV anchor became fodder for memes and sat at the pinnacle point of trending hashtags on Twitter the following day. Brands, being their opportunistic selves, rode on the controversial wave too.
