Outdoor agency Clear Channel exits JV with DDB Mudra.
Outdoor agency Clear Channel has exited its JV with DDB Mudra. The JV company Clear Channel Mudra was formed in 2009.
Gour Gupta, CEO at Clear Channel Mudra, has acquired Clear Channel India's stake in the company, which will now be called Ignite Mudra. DDB Mudra Group will continue as a minority stakeholder in the venture.
Ignite Mudra is positioned as a through-the-line(TTL) communications agency, with special focus on brand solutions through out-of-home (OOH), promotions and retail marketing.
Gupta says in a press release, "It is an exciting time to be a part of the marketing services industry. The success we have achieved as Clear Channel Mudra has given me the confidence to take the next step in our growth journey..." going on to talk about the agency's initiatives in emerging areas like sports and youth marketing.
"Ignite Mudra is a future ready organisation. While 'digitally enabled' seems to be buzzword that is thrown around, it is actually part of the basic hygiene checklist for any organisation... like it has been for Ignite Mudra. We are here to solve our clients' business challenges in the most effective and efficient manner possible," he adds.
Ignite Mudra will continue working with the clients of erstwhile Clear Channel Mudra. They include Bata, Budweiser, Dunkin Donuts, Godrej, Healthkart, Honda, ITC, Michelin, Patanjali, Pepsico, Puma, Reliance Jio, Snapdeal, Sony, Telenor, Vodafone and Worldwide Media.
