The out of home company has won the advertising rights to the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation's (BMTC) new bus terminal near the International Technology Park (ITPL) for 11 years.
With an aim to extend its presence across South India, Times OOH, the out of home (OOH) arm of Times Innovative Media Limited, has inked a deal with GS Media. This will allow it to acquire the ad rights to the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation's new bus terminal for the next 11 years.
The key media offering in the deal is a 55 X 65 feet façade display at the terminal building. It could be used as a single hoarding or as multiple smaller units.
The larger than life OOH site is at a strategic location that witnesses high footfalls on a daily basis as it lies in the vicinity of the International Technology Park (ITPL), which accommodates offices of several renowned IT companies, prominent hospitals, hotels and entertainment complexes.
Sunder Hemrajani, MD, Times OOH, says, "It is a high impact zone as it is very near to an IT Park that has many corporate houses employing a large number of high net worth youth. It is also a controlled environment for advertising, unlike on the roads or other areas where there is too much clutter."
Hemrajani refused to divulge any details of the deal but mentioned that the work on approaching the agencies for ads has begun.
Times OOH owns properties in street furniture, transits, large format and digital screens. It has its presence in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai, at airports, metro lines and other formats. In Bengaluru, it has more than 400 media options that include BQSs, gantries, road medians and pole kiosks.
GS Media is a Karnataka-based outdoor service company that specialises in outdoor advertising, indoor advertising, mall advertising and others.
