The radio station has kicked off an on-ground teaser campaign to promote its revamp exercise; along with flash mobs, the campaign includes canter activities and mall activations in Jaipur, Raipur, Udaipur and Kota.
95 FM Tadka, the radio station from the Rajasthan Patrika Group, is all set for a revamp to suit the changing preferences of listeners. The revamp includes a new, peppy and more engaging signature tune. The programming will also be spruced up with new shows and different content suited to the time band and the target audience (18-40 years).
In a bid to create buzz about the makeover, the radio station has kicked off an on-ground teaser campaign that aims to get listeners acquainted with the new Tadka and build anticipation for the refreshed content.
The teaser campaign started on March 28 with flash mob activities at MGF Mall, Bais Godaam, Jaipur, wherein dancers danced to the new signature tune of the station, mixed with other dance numbers. The flash mob activity has been scheduled for every day for one week at various malls in Jaipur.
The station has planned other activities such as mall activations and canter activities at Jaipur, Raipur, Udaipur and Kota that will engage people in one minute games and prize distribution. The canter activities will cover some of the busiest areas of Jaipur, including Gaurav Towers - Malviya Nagar, outside Vaibhav Complex - Vaishali Nagar, National Handloom - Vaishali Nagar, outside Triton Mall - Jhotwara, near Pink Square Mall - Adarsh Nagar, National Handloom - Vidhya Dhar Nagar, Saras Dairy and JLN Marg.
The on-ground campaign is backed by outdoor advertising that includes hoardings at prominent places in the city, along with on-air promotions such as teasers, promos and radio jockey mentions.
The relaunch has been tentatively scheduled for the second week of April. Alok Sharma, chief executive officer, 95 FM Tadka, says, "The only thing that is constant is change. And, to change with the times is intelligence. So, I am extremely positive about the revamp and hope the Jaipurites will welcome the new flavour of 95 FM Tadka with open arms."
