JCDecaux India has executed an outdoor campaign at the domestic departure area at Bengaluru International Airport (BIAL) for Shell, the global group of energy and petrochemicals companies.
The creative uses two light boxes of 11.2 X 7.8 feet displayed in front of a wrapped wall. The 57x9.1 feet wall is wrapped in yellow creative that showcases the message 'Let's switch to energy the future can depend upon. Let's Go'. The two light boxes contain images of a child studying under a table lamp, and a car, respectively. The wrapped wall gives a 3D effect to the light boxes.
Alok Duggal, general manager, sales, JCDecaux India, says, "The creative execution was simple yet impactful. We are confident that with this campaign, the brand recall for Shell will increase manifold. The challenge was to establish a targeted timeline, to make sure that the installation is done with perfection."
The idea behind the branding was to create a long-term brand recall among the passengers. The domestic departure security area was selected keeping in mind the long queue formation and clutter-free environment. The timing selected was when airports sees particularly high traffic during the ongoing festive season. It took 24 hours to execute the creative.
