The airline is looking at a total of 15 sites for outdoor advertisement, of which one hoarding each should be in the vicinity of Mumbai and Delhi airports.
State-run Air India has invited bids from OOH service providers for additional hoarding sites in seven major cities. The airline plans to enhance its visibility on a pan-India basis, and will focus on hoarding sites in Delhi, Amritsar, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
The airline is looking at 15 sites in all, with at least one each in the vicinity of Mumbai and Delhi airports. The minimum size of each hoarding should be 24' X 8'.
Air India, depending upon its commercial requirements, will have the right to reduce or increase the number of hoarding sites at its discretion.
As per the terms, the hoarding sites should be illuminated and should have clear visibility over a long distance. The displays should be situated on main arterial roads and should not be cluttered. Each site should be located in an area of maximum visibility.
The hoarding sites are required for a period of three years. Applicants are required to confirm their willingness to freeze the finalised rates for the entire term, after which no negotiation on rates would be entertained.
As per the tender document, the quotation should include all costs towards flexes, mounting, as well as printing.
Vendors applying for the tender should have a minimum OOH turnover of Rs 75 crore per annum, duly audited. They will need to enclose certified copies of the auditor's reports for the last three years. Applicants should also have offices in major Indian cities, preferably in all the cities where the hoarding sites are planned.
The selected vendor will be required to monitor each site and provide an inspection report on a monthly basis.
Duly completed bids, along with site pictures, should be submitted by 4 pm on February 18, 2011.
