A source close to the development confirms to afaqs! that the entire OOH media duties of FMCG leader HUL have been handed over to LMG.
In a recent development, FMCG major Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has handed over its out of home (OOH) media duties to Lintas Media Group (LMG). The size of the business is pegged at Rs 150 crore.
A source close to the development has confirmed the news to afaqs!. HUL's spokesperson chose not to comment on the business move.
The company's OOH duties, till recently, were divided between Portland India, a part of Kinetic (the global OOH specialist arm of WPP) and LMG's Aaren Initiative. However, following this re-alignment, the entire business will be handled by the latter.
Aaren Initiative has managed to kick off the New Year on a great note, with this being its second big win this month. Earlier, it won Nokia's OOH business.
The agency also handles the OOH duties for other big-ticket brands such as Sony, Jockey, Tata Capital, Future Group, Mont Blanc, the UB Group, Raymond, CNBC-TV18 and Fever 104 FM.
For the record, while Aaren Initiative will now handle HUL's OOH duties, Mindshare handles its media duties. Omnicom Media Group handles the company's digital business.
