Patil's termination is in place 'with immediate effect'.
Film production and distribution company Yash Raj Films has announced the termination of services of Ashish Patil, VP – brand partnerships and talent management - business and creative head, Y Films. The announcement was made in a Twitter post by the company's official Twitter handle @yrf, earlier today.

YRF's announcement comes after allegations of sexual harassment against Patil surfaced on social media. The accusations were raised by an anonymous 'former model and former aspiring actress' via a Twitter post by Japleen Parishcha, an activist and founder of Feminism in India, a digital platform.

Previouly, following Parishcha's expose about Patil, YRF responded with an assurance of 'strictest action against the alleged perpetrator'.
