Maxus - a media agency from the stable of GroupM - was the incumbent agency on the account. As mentioned on the brand's website, Mathrubhumi is presently printed from 16 locations inside Kerala and outside Kerala (Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Kochi, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Dubai and Qatar). Mathrubhumi's first overseas edition started printing from Dubai in March 2013.
