MEC India bags media duties of The Hindu Group

Media agency MEC India has recently been awarded with the media duties for The Hindu Group, after robust rounds of scouting.

Kasturi & Sons Ltd (KSL) a 138-year old institution media house is best known for its flagship English-language newspaper, The Hindu - published since 1878. It was among the first media houses in India to start online news operations and has multiple daily newspapers, magazines and online portals, including The Hindu Business Line, Sportstar, and Young World.

Commenting on the win, Rajendra J Prasad, general manager, MEC says "The Hindu is a prestigious brand with an inspiring legacy. We are eager to combine our talent and range of services to deliver standout brand work and outstanding business results."

Speaking on appointing MEC as a media partner, Sathya Sriram, AVP, marketing and strategy, The Hindu Group, says "MEC's integrated approach combined with their understanding of consumers and how they engage with our brands make them the perfect partner to handle our mandate.
