Star Plus tops urban + rural and urban market, Sony Pal continues to lead the top channel list in rural market.

Star Plus brings an end to Colors' number one reign in week 48, as it finds its way back to pole position with 720838 impressions, which went up from 636429 impressions. Colors fetched 640513 impressions this week which brought it down to number two; Colors was followed by Zee TV which moved a slot up over Sony at third position with 478416 impressions; Sony fetched 439992 impressions and dropped a place to fourth position. Sony Pal the free-to-air channel from Sony Pictures Networks fetched 427172 impressions to secure the fifth slot.

Colors might have lost the top slot but the channel's marquee show 'Naagin - Season 2' continues to be the top programme with 15858 impressions. Star Plus' 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' follows 'Naagin - Season 2' with 11892 impressions. 'Naagin' which is aired on Rishtey secured the third slot with 10805 impressions. Zee TV's 'Kumkum Bhagya' and Star Plus' 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' booked fourth and fifth slots with 10786 and 10692 impressions respectively.

Like U+R, in urban markets too, Star Plus reclaimed its pole position from Colors. In the urban market, Star Plus garnered 491749 impressions compared to Colors' 431666. Sony stayed at third with 304766 impressions followed by Zee TV with 283185 impressions at number four and Sony Sab with 268867 impressions at number five.

'Naagin - Season 2' continued to be the most watched programme in the urban market with 10214 impressions, followed by 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' with 7781 impressions. The HFF-THE JUNGLE BOOK (NEEL SETHI) innovation worked for Star Plus as the premier fetched 7539 impressions to secure third spot in the top programme list. Star Plus' 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' with 7024 impressions booked the fourth berth. 'The Kapil Sharma Show' of Sony with 6983 impressions earned the fifth slot.

Sony Pal with 317183 impressions topped the list of top channels in the rural market, followed by Rishtey with 297108 impressions. The third spot went to Zee Anmol with 285926 impressions.
Star Utsav and Star Plus fetched fourth and fifth spots with 265624 and 229090 impressions respectively.

'Baalveer' with 6002 impressions gained third position while 'Naagin - Season 2' with 5643 impressions was fourth. 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' with 5544 impressions grabbed the fifth spot.
