nexGTv, a subscription-led OTT (over-the-top) app, has acquired the digital telecast rights to the French-Chinese web series titled Ex-Model. The series, which showcases the story of a Chinese girl XinXin who struggles to become a successful model, is a comic take on the difficulties and atrocities faced by her.
As part of the move, nexGTv subscribers across the world will be able to access the first two seasons of the web series on its web and mobile platforms.
With two seasons comprising 10 episodes each, now available on nexGTv, Indian viewers across the globe will find their entertainment experience enriched with the addition of this highly acclaimed international series.
Speaking on the partnership, Abhesh Verma, chief operating officer, nexGTv, says in a press release, "Indian viewers have started appreciating good scripts, both from India and abroad. With our viewers increasingly moving towards the world of web series, especially international content, to satiate their entertainment needs, we have decided to curate and present the best of global content.”
