Paritosh Joshi, who joined India TV on November 2, 2015, as chief executive officer, has quit the company.
"It was a pleasure working with brand India TV, and though we could not continue for a longer duration due to my personal obligations, I wish brand India TV many more landmarks to achieve," says Joshi in a press release.
Commenting on Joshi's departure, Ritu Dhawan, managing director, India TV, says in a press release, "(Paritosh) Joshi joined us in November, 2015, and while we hoped that this would be a long association, it has clearly proven taxing for him as he continues to commute between two metros. He has now chosen to return to his family in Mumbai. It was a pleasure having him on board, and we wish him well in his future endeavours."
Joshi, who has been involved with a number of industry initiatives, including BARC India, was associated as a strategist with India TV from 2012, and was then brought on board as chief executive officer in November last year. Prior to India TV, he was CEO, Star CJ Network.
