The alliance will see the app air 50 Oriya and 10 Bangla music videos.
In a recent development, nexGTv, a subscription-led video entertainment app, has announced its partnership with SelectNext Digital, a content aggregation company. The move will see nexGTv gain worldwide digital rights to 50 Oriya and 10 Bangla music videos, which will be available to its users across the world.
The new offering will enrich the entertainment experience for nexGTv users who are always on the lookout for easy access to engaging content in their regional language.
Speaking on the partnership, Abhesh Verma, chief operating officer, nexGTv, says in a press release, "The reason why nexGTv is today counted amongst the industry leaders in the Indian OTT/Mobile TV segment is because we have focussed on curating and enabling high-quality, relevant video entertainment for our on the go subscribers from every part of India."
He further adds, "The latest content expansion underlines that commitment, and particularly gives Oriya and Bangla-speaking viewers an extra incentive to browse through our extensive content catalogue. We will work to acquire more regional content for our platform in order to provide nexGTv viewers with the best regional entertainment solutions anytime, anywhere."
The latest additions will be made available as part of the paid packages on nexGTv, and can be viewed seamlessly on its web and mobile platforms. The content can either be accessed through www.nexgtv.com, or through the nexGTv mobile app which is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
