Sanjay Pugalia to move on from Network18

Pugalia was with the network for 12 years.

Sanjay Pugalia, who was editor of CNBC Awaaz and CNBC Bajar, has decided to move on from Network18. He was with the network for 12 years.

Sources from the industry have confirmed the news.

Before joining Network18, Pugalia was news director at Star News. He also served as executive editor of Zee News. Pugalia joined Zee in the midst of a major shakeup in 2001, when he was given complete charge of programming on the Zee News channel.

Prior to that, he was deputy executive producer at AajTak. His earlier experience also includes stints with Navbharat Times, Business Standard, and BBC Radio.
