Kalra has more than 13 years of experience in print and television media.
The India Today Group has appointed Nonita Kalra as editor of its fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar India. The appointment is effective from this month.
A graduate from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, Kalra started her career as a trainee journalist with India Today. She, thereafter, held the post of editor-in-chief of ELLE India for nearly 13 years.
Kalra held consultancy assignments with Godrej Consumer Products, and most recently, with the FDCI. With over two decades of experience in print media and television, Kalra worked with brands such as Business World, UTV, BiTV, and Man's World. She was also a regular columnist of The Indian Express, The Economic Times, Forbes Life, and DailyO.

Harper's Bazaar India, is a fashion magazine under the India Today Group. It began publication with the March 2009 issue, which featured Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor on its cover.
