As per BARC data, Viacom's Colors was the No.1 GEC of week 36 with 38658 GVTs (last week 354956 GVTs). Star Plus at No. 2 raked up 370135 GVTs. It was at the top last week with 355269 GVTs. Following Colors and Star are Zee TV and Life OK with 263194 and 207606 GVTs (last week: 251608 and 195705 GVTs) respectively. Sony SAB was at fifth spot again with177268 GVTs (last week 18743 GVTs).
Top shows of Week 36: As per BARC data, Zee TV's 'Kumkum Bhagya' continues to be the most watched show in the genre, with 7264 TVTs this week. At No.2, the Colors show, 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi' had 6184 TVTs while 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' on Star Plus came in third with 5782 TVTs. 'Swarangini' and 'Udaan', by Colors were at the 4th and 5th spot with 5739 and 5643 TVTs respectively.
TAM Data: Top Hindi GECs of Week 37 - September 06 to September 12, 2015 - HSM without LC1, C&S 4+
As per TAM data, Colors was week 37 topper; the channel got 232 GRPs. Star Plus came a close second with 230 GRPs. Zee TV and Sony SAB followed with 156 and 123 GRPs respectively. Life OK came in fifth (113 GRPs), followed by Sony Entertainment Television at 106 GRPs. Sony was followed by & TV (59 GRPs), Z Anmol (34 GRPs), Star Utsav (29 GRPs) and Rishtey with 25 GRPs.
A look at the shows: According to TAM, Zee TV's 'Kumkum Bhagya' was the most watched show in the genre; it got 4.21 TVR, up from 4.09 last week. Comedy Nights Bachao jumped up to second spot at 4.08 TVR. It had premiered last week at seventh spot with 3.09 TVR.
Star Plus' 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' came in third with 4.06 TVR. Colors claimed the next five spots back-to-back with 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi' at 4.05 TVR, 'Swaragini' at 3.56 TVR, 'Balika Vadhu wit 3.37 TVR, 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' with 3.35 TVR, and 'Udaan' with 3.34 TVR.
At No.9 and 10, were Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum' and 'Saathiya Saath Nibhana' with 3.28 and 3.10 TVR respectively.
