'Kahaani Express' is a unique storytelling platform which gives young audiences in India a chance to learn and express themselves.
After the overwhelming response to the first year of 'Kahaani Express', ZeeQ is back with its second season which promises to create a large scale impact and reach out to approximately 3 lakh students (from standards 2 to 7) across the country, this year. The story telling activity commenced on 20th August and will end in the 3rd week of December while the tentative date for National Final is December 14.
'Kahani Express' is a unique story telling platform giving young India an unmatched chance to learn and express themselves. The activity, which will start at the city level targeting 470 schools across 24 cities in the country, will culminate into a national competition to be held in Kolkata in the first week of December 2015.The cities are Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Rajkot, Kolkata, Howrah, Asansol, Patna, Jamshedpur, Jaipur, Udaipur, Ghaziabad, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Ambala, Agra, Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad, Bhopal and Indore.
The team will be visiting the following schools as a part of the activity: Gurukul School, Pune, Father's International School, Ambala,Delhi Public School, Ambala,Tejas Vidyalaya, Baroda, Florets International School, Kanpur, Indus World School, Indore, Gyan Niketan RVC Campus, Patna, SRN International School, Jaipur, School Of Scholars, Nagpur, St. Mary's School, Kolkata, Little Flower School, Jamshedpur and Doon Public School, Chandigarh.
This activity is strategically divided into three parts,beginning with a school workshop conducted by expert story tellers who will demonstrate story development techniques with the help of specially designed picture panels and other props. It will be followed by city finals where the 3 best stories from each school will be judged by a jury of literary personalities, and 1 winner per city will go on to participate in the national-level finals to be held in Kolkata.
To enhance the reach of the initiative, ZeeQ has planned an extensive marketing campaign encompassing on-air, digital and on-ground promotions for maximum reach and impact. Towards the same, the team will be doing a three week radio plan for the activity. This plan is likely to kick-off by September 1, Furthermore, digital promotion through the company's website, Facebook page as well as integrated promotion through sponsors' pages would be undertaken
