A look at the top GECs of BARC's Week 28 - July 11-17, 2015:
According to BARC, in week 28, Star Plus continued to lead the Hindi GEC genre with 380392 GVTs, as compared to 416916 GVTs in week 27 (HSM: NCCS All: Week 28: Individuals: C&S 1Lac+).
Star Plus was followed by Colors that closed the week with 315462 GVTs (last week 364741). Zee TV stood third with 255005 GVTs (last week 284517) and Life OK stood fourth with 230762 GVTs (last week 239459).
Sony Entertainment Television clocked 164425 GVTs (last week 177934).

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya was the most watched show in the genre; it got 5643 TVTs. It was followed by Star Plus' Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, that garnered 5601 TVTs. Colors' Sasural Simar Ka and Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat followed, with 4184 and 3877 TVTs, respectively.
The fifth most watched show of week 28 was Zee TV's Dance India Dance - Season 5 (3833 TVTs).

Here's the list of the top five Hindi GECs, according to TAM's data for Week 29 (Market: C&S, 4+, HSM):
1. Star Plus: 237 GRPs (last week: 244)
2. Colors: 204 GRPs (last week: 220)
3. Zee TV: 152 GRPs (last week:166)
4. SAB TV: 134 GRPs (last week:128)
5. Life OK: 131 GRPs (last week: 129)
At No.6, was Sony Entertainment TV with 107 GRPs, followed by & TV and Zee Anmol, with 65 and 32 GRPs, respectively. At No.9 stood DD National and at No.10, Star Utsav, with 28 GRPs each.
A look at the top ten shows through TAM's lens: Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya was the most watched show in week 29; it got 4.14 TVR. Star Plus' Yeh Hai Mohabbatein stood second with 3.42 TVR.
Next in line were SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma and Star Plus' Saathiya Saath Nibhana, with 3.3 and 3.29 TVR, respectively. With 3.28 TVR, Colors' Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi was at No.5.
Colors' Comedy Nights With Kapil was at No.6 with 3.14 TVR, followed by Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (3.12 TVR) and Diya Aur Bati Hum (3.05 TVR).
At the No.9 and No.10 positions were Colors' Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat (2.75 TVR) and Udaan (2.69).
