Zindagi, the premium Hindi GEC from Zee Network, is introducing original content to its programming line-up. Hitherto, the channel was only airing content that was acquired from Pakistan.
Its first original show (produced in India) is a reality series titled 'Shukriya' and revolves around the channel's philosophy of 'Jodey Dilon Ko'. It is based on the fact that a small 'shukriya' (thank you) can make a big difference. Each episode promises to be an emotional and exciting journey, and 'Shukriya' will redefine the meaning of 'shukriya', as it may mean the world to someone.
"Today's fast-paced life is full of chaos and amidst this hustle and bustle, we tend to forget to appreciate people who have been there for us or have touched our lives in a special way. We tend to take people for granted. 'Shukriya' is a beautiful, heart-warming concept which gives people an opportunity to say thank you to their loved ones by organising an overwhelming surprise beyond that person's expectations," the channel says.
Hosted by Gunjan Utreja, 'Shukriya' will be launched on August 9. Every episode will be dedicated to one story which will be an emotional and exciting journey of how one 'shukriya' can mean the world to someone and spread happiness.
For the record, Zindagi, besides airing original shows in the evening prime time, recently launched three shows to strengthen its afternoon time band. The channel airs 'Nirmala Spice World' at 1 pm, 'Simply Beautiful' at 1.30 pm and 'Sasuraal Ki Galli' at 2 pm, every Monday to Saturday.
