Advertisment
Star Gold, Star Gold HD and Movies OK, the three Hindi movie channels from Star India's stable, will air an exclusive show titled 'Bhaijaan Kidnapped' on July 12 at 8 pm.
The idea is to engage with audiences better and generate excitement around the soon-to-be-released Salman Khan-starrer movie 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.
It may be recalled that Star Gold, on July 21 last year, had run an hour-long event just before the release of Khan's movie 'Kick'. The event showcased performances by Bollywood stars, including the movie's cast. It is pertinent to note here that Star India had signed output deals with Khan and Ajay Devgn for Rs. 500 crore and Rs. 400 crore, respectively, which gave the broadcaster the satellite rights for the movies till 2017. With the new deal, all these movies will stay with the network for 11 years, for unlimited runs.
For 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', the channels will present a "fun-filled" show where Khan will be seen winning the hearts of his tiny kidnappers and making them squeal with delight. Star Gold, Star Gold HD and Movies OK will simulcast 'Bhaijaan Kidnapped'.
