Allied Media and Percept Out of Home will become a single structure to offer complete media solutions.
Percept has restructured and integrated its media businesses into a single entity called Percept Media. The company hopes the change will bring greater focus and offer better synergies between the various media arms and, thereby, present a wider array of services and solutions to stakeholders.
Currently, the Percept Group comprises multiple units, namely Allied Media (media planning, evaluation and buying) along with the Digital Media services arm and Percept Out of Home (outdoor and rural media). The revised structure will see the two media service companies integrate into a single vertical under Percept Media, offering 360-degree media solutions to stakeholders.
While Ajay Upadhyay, COO, Percept Limited, will serve as chief mentor to guide the integration, Sanjay Shukla, COO, Percept One, will directly supervise the restructuring.
Following the exit of Shripad Kulkarni, PM Balakrishna has been elevated as CEO, Allied Media, and will also hold the position of executive vice president, Percept Media. Meanwhile, Rajneesh Bahl has been promoted as executive VP, Percept Media, and will also continue to serve as CEO, Percept Out of Home. Milind Dewulkar will take charge as CFO of Percept Media.
As per a statement released by the company, the restructuring of the media business is in keeping with the evolving and dynamic changes in the M&E industry and will enable Percept to offer greater efficiencies.
The Percept Media leadership team will soon be drawing out a comprehensive plan encompassing the branding, structure, services, revenue and business development strategy for FY'16.
