Riding on the success of its first two seasons, 92.7 Big FM, the radio channel from Reliance Broadcast Network, is set to launch the new season of its singing talent hunt show 'Benadryl Big Golden Voice'. The show will see talent from USA, Canada, UAE, Pakistan and Bangladesh participate along with their Indian counterparts for the first time ever. The grand finale winner, apart from winning the Big Golden Voice title, will also get to debut in Bollywood alongside singer Shankar Mahadevan, the face and judge of this talent hunt. Contestants can register themselves and audition for the contest from July 3, via IVRS, SMS and Big FM's website.
Speaking on this association, Mahadevan says, "It is amazing that India has such vast talent and initiatives like 'Benadryl Big Golden Voice' bring out the raw singing talent from the nook and corner of the country. This year, it is only getting bigger, and it will be a delight to hear some of the extra-ordinary voices from across boundaries and judge them. It is a truly amazing effort by Big FM, and I wish them all the best."
Ashwin Padmanabhan, executive VP and national business head, Reliance Broadcast Network, states, "We are extremely delighted to announce the launch of the third season of our mega singing talent hunt show. Big FM has spearheaded numerous initiatives that endeavour to bring forth hidden and untapped talent and, after the tremendous response and great appreciation from our listeners for the last two seasons, we aim to take the show to an all-new level by introducing an international leg to the campaign this time. With this, we look forward to not only unravel local talent, but also discover international potential. Our associations with advertisers too will garner international exposure for them to communicate with their consumers overseas effectively."
As the new format sets in, the radio show will be promoted across radio, OOH, TV and digital platforms. With expansion into the digital space, Big FM will now welcome digital entries, videos and web episodes. It has also tied up with online music academies.
