Raghav Subramanian, a media veteran, is all set to join IPG Mediabrands. Subramanian is a former entrepreneur who quit Lintas Initiative Media in 2012 to launch TMC Corp along with his colleague at Lintas, Sudha Natrajan.
For the record, Natrajan has also quit TMC to join Hindustan Times to head strategic business development. Having started his career at Ogilvy, Subramanian is armed with over 20 years of experience and has worked on brands such as American Express, Dabur, ITC Agro and Godfrey Phillips India.
He has spent around a decade in GroupM, New York at its business science division, Advance Techniques Group, after which he returned to India and served as chief strategy officer at ZenithOptimedia. Later, he joined Starcom Mediavest as national director, insights and research in June 2011. He joined Lintas Media Group as COO in December 2011.
In June 2012, Subramanian and Natrajan (then CEO of the group) quit to start their own venture, The Media Consultants, based in Gurgaon.
