HT Media has promoted Harshad Jain to the position of CEO, Fever. Prior to this, he was business head- radio and entertainment, for the company. Jain will lead the business as it moves into an expansion stage with M&A and Phase 3 licensing round the corner. He will also focus on expanding the brand to new geographies and beyond FM, into entertainment and digital space.
Jain has been with HT Media for four years and brings with him over 20 years of cross-sectorial experience in the FMCG and media and entertainment spaces. He has worked with PepsiCo for 14 years in roles across sales, marketing and business, at regional and corporate level. Prior to joining Fever, he was with Bharti Airtel as senior vice president and head of sales and marketing, handling the DTH business.
Talking about his new role, Jain says, "I'm humbled by this new role. Fever is a vibrant and dynamic organization, which has witnessed tremendous growth over the past few years. My focus will be on leading fever to the next level of growth and innovation, tapping newer opportunities in the digital and entertainment space and on phase 3 of FM radio."
HT Media is a national media house owning brands like Hindustan Times (English daily), Hindustan (Hindi daily) and Mint (business daily), along with radio channel Fever 104 FM, which is aired in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata. The company has also launched web portals Shine, HTCampus and Desimartini.
