Star Plus maintained its lead in the Hindi GEC genre despite losing viewership. The channel, in week 18, lost 19 GRPs to settle at 499 GRPs, as per BARC data (HSM, NCCS All).
Viacom18's Colors witnessed a marginal dip in viewership in the week ending May 8. The channel grossed 412 GRPs, compared to 413 GRPs in the previous week.
Star Plus' younger sibling Life OK stayed strong at No. 3 with 331 GRPs, down from last week's 374.
Zee TV, the flagship Hindi GEC from Zee Network, lost 38 GRPs and concluded the week with 310 GRPs.
Multi Screen Media's Sab TV and Sony Entertainment Television garnered 192 GRPs (last week 235) and 186 GRPs (last week 221 GRPs), respectively. &TV registered 98 GRPs week 18.
Among the free-to-air channels, Zee Anmol clocked 52 GRPs (last week 53 GRPs), Star Utsav recorded 40 GRPs (last week 41 GRPs) and Rishtey registered 40 GRPs, same as last week.

As per BARC ratings, mentioned on its website, Star Plus' 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' topped the list of most watched shows with 2499 TVTs.
Colors' 'Sasural Simar Ka' is the second most watched show with 1888 TVTs, followed by Star Plus' 'Suhani Si Ek Ladki' (1658 TVTs) and 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' (1644 TVTs).
Zee TV's 'Kumkum Bhagya' came in at No. 5 with 1611 TVTs, as per BARC data (HSM, NCCS All, prime-time - 1800-2330 hours).
