Titled 'Starting up with Ronnie Screwvala', the show will be aired every Saturday at 10.30 AM, starting April 11.
ET Now, the business news channel from Times Television Network, has partnered with Ronnie Screwvala for a show on Indian entrepreneurship.
'Starting up with Ronnie Screwvala' aims to fuel the Indian entrepreneurial wave by providing a platform to millions of emerging Indian entrepreneurs who will shape and lead the country's socio-economic growth. Screwvala recently released his book 'Dream With your Eyes', and believes that the show is a perfect extension of the book.
The show will be aired every Saturday at 10.30 AM, starting April 11.
Screwvala will mentor ambitious entrepreneurs from across the country. The show, comprising six episodes, will revolve around mentoring entrepreneurs who are at different stages of their entrepreneurship life-cycle. As a part of each episode, three entrepreneurs will get a chance to seek Ronnie's advice on specific issues they may be facing in their businesses. From scaling it up to funding, from finding talent to taking on the Goliaths; all the cards will be laid out on the table. Screwvala will share his experiences as a first-time entrepreneur with them.
R Sridharan, managing editor, ET Now, says, "ET Now is a channel that provides differentiated content in the business news genre. We go beyond being a provider of information, and want to maintain our standing as the go-to channel for anyone wanting to understand more about finance and investment. As a business news channel, we have always strived to be the first to identify and define development in the financial ecosystem of the country. This show will act as a platform for entrepreneurs and will reinforce the current 'Make in India' philosophy of the country."
Screwvala says, "I have recently released my book 'Dream With Your Eyes Open' which aims to champion the cause of entrepreneurship in the country. Through this show, we want to inspire success, demystify failure and urge people to dream, and dream big. I am glad to partner with ET Now which is also working towards the same cause. I hope my book and this show gives people the conviction to follow their dreams and make them believe that it's all possible and can be done."
