Sudip Roy joins IBN7 and IBN-Lokmat as National Revenue Head

Roy was senior vice president, ad revenue, Neo Sports and Neo Prime.

Sudip Roy has joined Network18 as the national revenue head for its news channels, IBN7 and IBN-Lokmat. Roy's last stint was with Neo Sports and Neo Prime as the senior vice president - advertising revenue. He had joined the company in June 2013.

In his new role, Roy will focus on the overall sales strategy for driving the goals of further augmenting the network's market share and revenues.

Avinash Kaul, CEO, IBN News Network says, "As we continue to move ahead with our growth plans, we are confident that Sudip's rich experience in the Hindi and Marathi news genre will allow him to play an invaluable leadership role in driving exponential revenue growth at IBN7 and IBN-Lokmat."

Commenting on his new role, Roy adds, "Both IBN7 and IBN-Lokmat are strong brands in the news television industry in terms of credibility, viewership and innovation. It's been an exciting ride for me in the broadcast industry so far, and I look forward to working with the team to lead advertising revenue at IBN7 and IBN-Lokmat to new heights".

Roy brings with him over 17 years of experience in strategy planning, business development, advertising sales and customer relationship management across leading media houses. Prior to joining Neo, he had held senior management roles in networks such as Zee Telefilms, and MCCS - an ABP Group company.

He has a Post-Graduation Diploma in Business Administration.
