Information Television Network's group CEO RK Arora has put in his papers after a two-year long stint. According to industry insiders, chances of the channel retaining him are high.
He had joined the network in 2012 when it entered the English national news domain through the acquisition of the English news channel, NewsX. He was mandated to handle the business operations of the Hindi news channel India News, five regional channels and its English news channel, NewsX.
In August this year, Arora was elevated as group CEO of the network. In this role he assumed the overall responsibility of strategic and operational management of the ITV Network. Also, overseeing the group's diverse portfolio of assets across news broadcasting.
Arora has more than 22 years of experience. Prior to joining ITV Network, he was the CEO of BAG Network for nearly two years. Before that, he was the executive director and CFO at India TV.
