The second season of the show will chronicle stories of women who have dared to dream big.
Bindass, the youth entertainment channel from Disney India, is launching the second season of its popular show, Halla Bol.
The first season, that aired earlier this year, inspired Indian youngsters to be strong and raise their voice against those who wrong them. The show will continue to empower women but will be taking up a new theme.
In season 2 of Halla Bol, the channel will feature inspiring stories of women who believed in their dreams and chose to follow their passion.
Starting November 30, the show will air every Sunday at 6 pm. It will be hosted by Karan Tacker.
Through the course of 26 episodes, Halla Bol 2 will explore the trials and tribulations of women and illustrate how strength, belief and self-confidence go a long way. The season will showcase relevant issues such as women empowerment, gender inequality, family and social stereotypes and feature stories of women who have made their mark in a Man's World.
The stories, according to the channel, will be heroic and inspiring ones - from a young girl wanting to pursue a male dominated sport like Boxing to a pregnant woman who dared to walk out of an abusive marriage.
Vijay Subramaniam, VP - Content and Communications, Media Networks, Disney India, says, "With season one of Halla Bol, we connected with young adults as their friend while inspiring them to bring about a change and they loved us for it. Through this season, we aim to reiterate bindass' commitment to motivate Indian youth towards purposive action and inspire women to follow their dreams."
