Leo Burnett's Anup Vishwanathan to join TTN

Vishwanathan will join Times Television Network as the marketing head of its English entertainment cluster - Romedy Now and Movies Now on November 24. He will report in to Vivek Srivastava.

Leo Burnett's executive vice president Anup Vishwanathan has quit the ad agency after a stint of over eight years, to join Times Television Network.

Vishwanathan's last day at Leo Burnett was yesterday. He will join TTN on November 24 to head marketing of its English entertainment cluster that has two channels, Romedy Now and Movies Now.

In his new role, he will report to the newly appointed SVP and head - English Entertainment Cluster of Times Television, Vivek Srivastava. It may be recalled that Srivastava had joined the company in October from Viacom18.

Srivastava says, "Anup's expertise in working with a cross section of brands, along with his deep understanding of media businesses will add great value to our business. I would like to welcome him on-board and I look forward to having a wonderful working experience."

Speaking on his new role, Vishwanathan adds, "I am really happy to be an integral part of the Times Television Network Team. I have had some wonderful clients and colleagues who have enriched me with knowledge and experience with every interaction I have had with them. That's going to stand in good stead for me. And finally, I have managed to sync my work and my passion- which has always been movies. Looking forward for a blockbuster run here."

Vishwanathan brings with him over 15 years of work experience. At Leo Burnett, he worked on brands like HDFC Life, Tata Capital, McDonalds, Sony Entertainment Television, Sony Pix, AXN. He had also worked with Contract Advertising - Bangalore, Mudra - Chennai and McCann Erickson - Chennai.
