The news comes close on the heels of Sunil Buch's appointment as the chief business officer of the media conglomerate. Indra has moved to ZEEL from Marico where he was head - supply chain and new country development. In his new role, Indra will report to Punit Goenka, MD and CEO, ZEEL.
Indra brings with him over 17 years of work experience. He started his career with Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals as management trainee and senior marketing executive in 1997. He moved to Clause International as its regional sales lead in 1999. The last company he worked with before joining Marico was AgriNet Solutions in December 2000 and as chief manager.
His stint with Marico began in 2001 when he joined as the manager - Buying (December 2001-June 2003). Since then, he has held various positions like manager - 3P Operations, materials manager, head - commodity buying and head supply chain and new country development, Marico International. Indra has an MBA degree - Rural Management from Institute of Rural Management Anand.
