Rajdeep Sardesai joins TV Today Network

Sardesai has joined the news network as a consulting editor. He will also be doing a show on Headlines Today.

Rajdeep Sardesai, former editor-in-chief of IBN18 Network, has joined the TV Today Network as a consulting editor. Sardesai tweeted this morning saying, "Delighted to be joining TV Today network, India's largest news network, as consulting editor. Looking forward to working with a great team."

He also added that he will be doing a prime-time show on the network's English news channel, Headlines Today, soon. He will also appear on TV Today Network's Hindi News channel, Aaj Tak.

Sardesai recently launched his own website, rajdeepsardesai.net, with the tagline 'Credibility over Chaos". It features his columns, interviews along with an integration with his twitter handle (@sardesairajdeep) tweets of which can be seen on the home page of the website.

For the record, Sardesai, 49 years, ended his nine-year-long stint with Network18 in July this year. He was heading the channels CNN-IBN, IBN7 and IBN-Lokmat. He has 26 years of journalistic experience in print and television. Prior to joining Network18, he had also worked with The Times Of India and NDTV Group.
